About
The Dear Academy is a learning centre for children and parents, where children’s individuality is celebrated and promoted.
In a fast-paced and ever-changing world, our children need a wide range of skills and characteristics for long, happy, and fulfilling lives. At The Dear Academy, learning characteristics are developed and wellbeing is advanced through fun, play-based, intrinsically motivating challenges.
The child is at the centre of this learning, and with a highly experienced practitioner, each child - working in small, mixed-age groups - is guided and supported to become the best they can be. The role of the sessions is to carefully and sensitively facilitate empowerment and a positive sense of self. Parents are invited to join the journey and develop an understanding of how these skills can be nurtured at home.
